He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria D'Andrea and Giovanni D'Amelio. He is survived by: his daughter Antonella; his in-laws, Antoinetta and Nicola; his wife Matilde Nittoli of Lioni; his children, Maria, Gianni and Nick; his daughter-in-law Margie; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Cristina, Antonella, Nicole and Rocco; and his siblings, Lina D'Amelio (Michele), Teresa Santoro (Mario) and Michele D'Amelio (Maria).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairchild and Sons Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Anastasia Church (45-14 245th St, Douglaston, NY 11362). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365).
