He is survived by: his wife Doris Yerina (Oldick) of Little Falls; his children, Robert Jr. (Laura) of Little Falls, William (Julia) of Little Falls, Dori Gilman (Thomas) of Tupper Lake, Suzanne (Sarah Jacobs) of Freeport Maine, John (Erin) and Frank (Lisa) of Ilion; his grandchildren, Robert Yerina III (Jennifer), Erika Reff (Nik), Nicole Yerina (Adam Campbell), Kali Yerina, Nik Cooper, Brandon, Channing Burdick, Kaitlyn, Christopher Gilman, Morgan Chase (Jeff Ronczy), Jordan Chase (Jake Bickford), Molly, Benjamin, Adam, Jonah, Wesley Yerina, Raelynn and Kinleigh Yerina; his great grandchildren, Rolan, Ryder, Ryker, Ridley Yerina, Aria Reff, Channce and Gianna; and his sister Betty (Howard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His last wishes there will be no service or calling hours, memorial contributions can be sent to the Herkimer County Humane Society where he rescued many of his canine companions.
