She was predeceased by: her father William Lawrence; her son Nicholas; her godson Lucas Lawrence; and her niece Sarah Johnston. She is survived by: her mother Beatrice (Wandover) of Herkimer; her husband Sean Murphy; her daughters, Emily Murphy of Herkimer and Allison Murphy of Herkimer; her siblings, Kenneth Lawrence (Anne Marie), Larry Lawrence (Debbie), William Lawrence (Laura), Ann Johnston (Dale), Diane Forbes (Jerry) and Linda Lawrence (Kim); her brothers-in-law, Brian Murphy (Michelle), Kevin Murphy (Kiyoko), Patrick Murphy, Michael Murphy and Connor Murphy; and her mother-in-law Patricia Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
