He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cheney and Helen Cheney (Scannell); and his sister Margaret McLaughlin. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Cheney (Judy Lewis) of Glenside, PA, Harold Cheney, III (Lori) of Reynoldsburg, OH, Rose Cheney (Howard Wiener) of Philadelphia, PA, Carolyn Cheney (Steaphan Scott) of Columbus, OH, Elizabeth Cheney (Judson McCranie) of Brunswick, GA, Mary Kretsch of Cumming, GA and Gwendolyn Rivera (Juan) of Maui, HI; and his pet Posey. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
