He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Griffin and Mae Miller Griffin Osborn; his stepfather Donald "Don" Osborn; and his siblings, Patricia Brownell, Gloria Smaldone, Victoria Dineen, Dorothy Rowlands, Leon "Junior" Griffin, Edward Griffin, James Griffin Carr and Richard Griffin.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Parese (Patrick "Butch") of East Herkimer; his grandchildren, Danielle Parese (Bradley Stefanik), Lindsey Parese (Ryan Fahy) and Patrick Parese (Ariele Bell); his sisters, Mary Moore of Ilion and Vivian McGraw of Ilion; and his half-sister Debbie Osborn Clark (Jack) of Richfield Springs.
