He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maikranz and Madeline Maikranz (Ehrgood); his son David Maikranz Jr.; his grandchildren, Thomas Gendron and Dawn Rubio; and his siblings, Bill, Delores, Eugene, Norman, Fred, Paul and Don.
He is survived by: his children, Pamella Rubio of Lehigh Acres, Sheila Ostrander (James Lawson) of Homer, GA, Deborah Case of Kirksville, MO, Susan Ingerham of Herkimer, NY, Cyle Maikranz Sr. (Donna) of Schwenksville, PA, Karen Paddock (Thomas) of Waterville, NY and Darla Maikranz (Mark Rende) of Schuyler; and his friend Bob Merrick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes - Whitesboro (40 Main St, Whitesboro, NY 13492). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc. (40 Main St, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
