He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Youngs (Buono); and his parents, James B. Youngs and Anna Youngs (Durfee). He is survived by: his children, Deborah L. Youngs of Endicott and James L. Youngs (Deborah Stratton) of Auburn, NY.; his siblings, Gerald Youngs (Jane), Barbara Shipman (Gary) and Janice Shipman (Robert); his brother-in-law Daniel P. Buono (Lois Jean) of McGaheysville, VA.; and his aunt Clara Mooers Litsche (Miss F. Marie Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family requests the understanding and cooperation of all mourners to adhere to ALL COVID safety precautions for the safety of immunocompromised immediate family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests expressions of sympathy be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Nanticoke United Methodist Church.
