He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Lewis Spicer and Joyce A. Butts; his wife Carla J. Andrews; his niece Kelcie L. Spicer; and his brother-in-law Michael Andrews.
He is survived by: his daughter Brianna Rose Spicer (Michael Doriott); his stepchildren, Jeanna Lowry (Alan) and Justin Andrews; his siblings, Julie Pendell (Don), Lori Meyer (Orin), Patty Shepard (Tim) and Bob Spicer (Cindi); and his brother-in-law Eric Andrews (Val). He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Killawog United Methodist Church (615 Jennings Creek Rd, Marathon, NY 13803). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses has been set up in Douglas's name at NBT Bank Marathon.
