He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Causer and Addie Causer (Crance); and his sons, Wade Causer and Jim Stratton. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Mike Stratton of Lindley, Kelly Stratton of Staten Island, Tammy Tunney of Fillmore, NY, Bonnie Smith of Wellsboro and David Stevens of Lindley; his granddaughter Kaitlynn Causer of Woodhull; his daughter-in-law Janie Barnes; and his sister Mary Farnsworth of Nelson. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
