With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn S. Bockus of Lindley, New York, who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore F. Smith and Lillian G. Smith (Goldbrugh); her husband Carl L. Bockus; her daughters, Patricia Hartwell and Darlene Wheaton; her brothers, Franklin Smith, Brother Francis Xavier (James) and Walter Smith; her son-in-law Robin Oakley; and her grandson Shannon Oakley.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Foote (Warren) of Mt. Jewett, E. Elaine Askins of Lindley, NY, Anna Oakley of Lindley, NY and Leland Bockus (Linda) of Lindley, NY; her nephews, Mike Durkin, George Wheaton (Marty) and Ed Askins; and her niece Jodi Smith. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
