He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Davis and Alton Davis. He is survived by: his siblings, Jean and Anna Mae; his wife Jean Clark Davis; his children, Christopher Davis, Cameron Davis (Barbara), Tami Blauberg, Marie Stegner (Ronald), Cindi Hagan (Cliff) and Jean Gallegro (John); his grandchildren, Alanna, Jake, Katie, Lyric, Jeremy, Brendan, Jamie, James, Joseph, Tom, Sean, Michael and Peter; and his great grandchildren, Nora, William, Finn, Anna, Ellie and Jack.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (67 Broadway, Amityville, NY 11701). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Kilian RC Church (485 Conklin St, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sherwood's name to Operation Smile, Shriners Hospital for Children and/or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
