He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Shaer and Marilyn Shaer; his grandparents, Harry and Florence Kaiser; his wife Karen; his children, Greg Shaer, Carrie Shaer Gad (Ron) and Charles Shaer (Rita); his grandchildren, Jessica Allen (Chris), Jake, Caitlyn, Cole, Ryann, George, Alexis and Megan; his great grandchild Jonah; and his sister Barbara Alpan (Hasan).
Due to Covid, the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
