It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Esther Cruz (Lindenhurst, New York), who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudio Rivera and Juana Marrero; her daughter Carmin Rios; her sisters, Ana and Lucy; and her son-in-law Irving.
She is survived by: her children, William Cruz of New York, Tony Cruz (Alexander) of New Jersey, Carlos Cruz (Maria) of New York, Luz M. Cruz of New York, Evelyn Schechter (Larry) of Leland, NC and Doris Hernandez of Texas; and her siblings, America Rivera, Angel Manuel Rivera, Heriberto Rivera, Enrique Rivera and Antonio Rivera. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
