He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Duve and Helen Gertrude Griffith Duve; and his siblings, Helen Rovera and John Duve. He is survived by: his spouse Paulette Snyder Swalwell; his children, William Lorraine Duve, Jr., Paul John Duve and Vanessa Marie Duve; his sister-in-law Cherry C. Duve of Michigan; and his brother Richard Duve of Clarence Center. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
