He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Colvin; his son Russell Colvin; and his siblings, Doris Johnson and Edward Colvin. He is survived by: his sons, John E. Colvin (Kim) of Lima and Brett Colvin (Diane) of Lima. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
