She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas M. Wheat Sr.; and her siblings, Evelyn Stoffel and Daniel Newman. She is survived by: her children, Thomas M. Wheat Jr. (Nancy) and Wendy Wheat-Emerson of Lima; her brothers, Stanley Donald (Judith) and Robert Lynn Newman (Barbara); her grandchildren, Alexa Rose Carson (Craig), Thomas M. Wheat III, Gregory (Ashlea) and Erik Emerson (Jackie); and her great grandchildren, Parker, Jack and Josephine Elle Emerson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
