With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney J. Baumert of Liberty, New York, born in West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Baumert and Irene Uhing Baumert; and his sister Janice McCullough. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Hayes Baumert; his children, Joel Baumert (Sarah) of Maryland and Kimberly Pirtle (Kirk) of Maryland; his stepdaughters, Deborah Benjamin of Liberty, NY and Melissa Robinson of Las Vegas, NV; and his siblings, Ronald Baumert, Kathleen Baumann (James), Maxine McElligott (Terry), Mary Powers (Phil), Peggy Schicker (Bob) and Teresa Barber (Stan). He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
