With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Boyd of Liberty, New York, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Casey and Mary O'Toole Casey; her children, Candy Perkins and Terry Boyd; and her siblings, Jerome Casey, Eileen Hancock and Marilyn Ruane.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Boyd (Jill) of Orangeville, PA, Brian Boyd (Ann) of Liberty, NY and Mary Kortright (Dale) of Liberty, NY; her son-in-law Jim Perkins; and also Cindy Northrop of Liberty, NY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
