He was predeceased by: his parent Roxane L. Miller Dworetsky. He is survived by: his father James J. Meyerer; his children, Courtney Meyerer, Richard Meyerer, Jr. and Endya R. Alvarez; his close friend Shannon M. Pascoe; his sister Christina Strong (Billy); and his grandmothers, Kay Miller and Joy Ackerley. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many nieces and nephews.
