She was predeceased by: her father George Pinckney; her husband Edgar Owens; her mother Essie Gilliard Pinckney; her siblings, J. C. Gilliard, Minnie Williams and Leroy Pinckney; and her son Gordon Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Owens, Anthony Owens, Marsha Wallace and Maureen Wallace; her grandchildren, Sergio Ocasio, Justin Ocasio, Chris Wallace, Brandon Owens, Chris Placide, Randy Owens Jr., Marcus Owens, Darian Owens, Jackson Owens, Tristan Owens, Jadan Owens, Sean Owens, Gavin Owens, Marqui Ocasio, Torrie Jackson, Brooke Jackson, Brittany Owens, Trinity Owens, Addison Owens, Desiree Lynn Scott and Cherise Wallace; and her great grandchildren, Sergio Ocasio Jr., Aziah Ferguson, Tavius Fasenntar, Zyaire Fasenntar, Aryes Megenity, Able Megenity, Kailey Ocasio, Olivia Gill, Skylar Ocasio, Alanna Perozzi, Amora Ferguson, Embry Megenity and Ariella Owens. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
