He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. and Nira Gerwer; and his sister Janet Striffler. He is survived by: his children, Edward L. Gerwer of Sevierville, TN and Jessica E. Gerwer of Sevierville, TN; his siblings, Jeannie Gerwer, Cheryl Britten and David Gerwer; and his granddaughter Jayden E. Barton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home - Liberty (115 West St, Liberty, NY 12754). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
