She was predeceased by: her parents, Ichabod Benton and Edith Cristine Bruno Benton; her siblings, Richard Benton, John Benton, Arthur Benton and Marie Shorten; her nephews, Benjamin Benton, Lee Benton and Jonathan Benton; her niece Stacey Benton; and her close friend Robert "Scoop" Higgins.

She is survived by: her siblings, Debbie Benton of Liberty, NY and Robert "Bear" Benton (Sherry) of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Brenda's name may be made to the Liberty United Methodist Church, 170 No.
