He is survived by: his parent Angeline Gara (Archie); his spouse Nancy Gara (Spendio); his children, Judy Finitz (Chris), Sam Gara, Jr (Marissa), Donna Hoolihan (Tim), David Gara, Lisa Nicoletti (Ron) and Dina Gara; his grandchildren, Christopher Finitz (Allison), Carly Finitz, Gabrielle Gara, Alyssa Gara, John Hoolihan (Stacey), Karilyn Argy (Bobby) and Marco Nicoletti; his siblings, Anthony Gara (Dorothy) and Rose Muto (Victor); and his sibling-in-law Dotty Gara. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
