Gruppo of Lewiston, New York, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Gruppo and Pasqualina Gruppo (Bianco); his grandson Eric De Fazio; and his siblings, Josephine Caprio (late Rocky), Dolores Brigante (late Joseph), Bessie Nicosia (late Peter), Constance Barber (late John), Nancy Travis (late Anthony), Marion Buscemi (late Richard), Mae Trapasso (late Louis) and Daniel Gruppo (late Lillian).
He is survived by: his wife Mary H. Gruppo (Brooks); his children, Linda Radford (Keith), Cheryl Nardelli (Mario), Neil Gruppo (Rhonda) and Nancy Colucci (John); his grandchildren, Noelle McGuire (Eric), Dr. Adam De Fazio (Michelle), Daniel Gruppo (Lindsay), Mario Colucci (Jillian), Cara Nardelli, Anthony Gruppo (Danielle), Alexa De Fazio (Tony) and Katie Sanford (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Maximus, Mia McGuire, Azzurra, Lucia, Julian De Fazio, Liliana, Carlotta Colucci, Stella Gruppo and Emiliano Abrego. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
