She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hallett and Joan Hallett. She is survived by: her husband Edward J. Sand; her sons, Edward C. (Brandy), Gregory and Stephen; her granddaughters, Emma and Gabriella; and her siblings, Charles Hallett (Maureen), Jane Donovan (Kevin), Colleen Perryman (Tom), Carol Bedard (James), Michael Hallett (Norella), Sharon Hallett and Joseph Hallett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial will be planned in the spring of 2021 around her birthday.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as Maureen was a longterm supporter of this charitable organization.
