He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cabello and Jenny (Moryto); his sister Virginia Migliazzo (late Frank); his siblings-in-law, James, Gary and Gail Schmidt; and his wife Nancy A. Cabello.
He is survived by: his children, Lewis J. Cabello II of Georgia, James F. Cabello (Maria) of Canino and Christina M. Johnston (Shaun) of Burt; his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua of Georgia, Chiara and Francesco of Canino; his great grandchildren, Colton and Stella; his sisters, Patricia Butera (late Angelo) and Frances Garcia (Celestino); and his sister-in-law Beth Cushing (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
While flowers are welcomed, donations may be made in Lewis's memory to the American Cancer Society, a cause dear to his heart.
