It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona (Dyczkowski) M. Slazyk of Lewiston, New York, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Dyczkowski and Pauline [Kornacki] Dyczkowski; her husband Walter J. Slazyk, Sr.; and her siblings, Theodore, Eugene, Raymond, Angela, Victor, Walter, Thaddeus, Marcella and Leonard.
She is survived by: her children, Walter J. Slazyk, Jr., Joel Slazyk (Stephanie) and Theresa Adams (John); her grandchildren, Timothy Slazyk (Andrea), Melanie Meador (Scott), Julie Adams, John Adams, Jr., Amy Slazyk, Sarah Schiavone (Drew) and Falon Capenhurst; her great grandchildren, Tyler (Jessica), Haylee, Katelyn, Jack and Julia; her great great grandchildren, Ryleigh and William; and her close friends, Marylou Chism, Barbara Morse and Nia Swensson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
