He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Freeland and Norma E. Freeland (Klipfel); and his sister Linda Giardino (James) of Scottsdale, AZ.. He is survived by: his wife Christine A. Freeland (Covatta); his children, Dr. Erik Freeland, Jeffrey Freeland and Julie Freeland; and his sisters, Kathy Fisher (late F. Craig) of Chicago, IL and Jane DiPietro (Greg) of League City, TX.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
