John W. Dooher Obituary
We bid farewell to John W. Dooher of Lewiston, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2025 at the age of 94. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dooher and Agnes [Dowling] Dooher; his son Timothy Dooher; his stepson Timothy Roche; and his siblings, Peter, James, George Dooher (Ellen) and Kathleen Doyle (Gerald).
He is survived by: his wife Anne [McConnaghy] Roche Dooher; his children, John (Diane), Daniel, Francis Dooher (Laurie) and Mary Dooher (Henry Kahwaty, Jr.); his stepdaughters, Susan Hunter (James), Mary Esther O'Reilly (Pamela Hamilton) and Lenore McDonald (John); his sisters, Elizabeth DiCamillo (Thomas) and Mary Ellen Piotrzkowski (James); and his sister-in-law Annette Dooher. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Cataract RC Church (237 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Niagara University Novena Office.
