He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Fontanarosa and Maria Fontanarosa; his siblings, Ennio Fontanarosa (late Nevia), Mary Gullo (late Sam), Ella Grizanti (late Cosmo), Raffaela Frisina (late Archangelo), Emily Penque (late Joseph), Gino Fontanarosa (late Mary) and Alberto Fontanarosa; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Guetta (late Anthony), Yolanda "Patty" Hargrave (late Robert Sr.) and Anthony Gagliardo.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Fontanarosa (Gagliardo); his children, Peter Fontanarosa, Paul Fontanarosa (Susan) and Mary McGovern (Daniel); his daughter-in-law Donna Fontanarosa; his grandchildren, David Fontanarosa (Erika), Peter Fontanarosa (Emily), Mia Fontanarosa, Samuel Fontanarosa, Gino Fontanarosa, Daniel McGovern, Jr. (Christina) and Austin McGovern; his great grandchildren, Ava, Lou, Juliette, Alice, Lucy, Millie, Olivia Fontanarosa and Daniel McGovern, III; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Gagliardo and Armando Pucci (Jeanette). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
