He is survived by: his parent Vivian LaVia (Walter); his spouse Laura Morinello-LaVia; his children, Salvatore, John Duke and Patrick LaVia; his mother-in-law Mary Certo Rolle; his brothers-in-law, Judge Angelo Morinello and Vincent Rolle (Karen); and his siblings, Constance Costello (late Richard), Joanne Justyk (William) and Jean Jaris. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
