She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Messina and Emilia Messina (S'dao); her husband John S. Friona; her siblings, Joseph Messina and Mary Shimmel (late Martin); and her brother-in-law Anthony Friona (late Evelyn).
She is survived by: her children, Anna Marie Irish (Michael), Doreen Grannis (James), John N. Friona (Jane) and Diane Libman (Wayne); her grandchildren, Ryan Irish (Melissa), Jason Irish, Derek Carden (Stacy), Christopher Carden, Claire Friona, Grace Friona, Jenna Libman and Sofia Libman; her sister Jean Marra (Rocco); her sister-in-law Rose Marie Stack (Kevin); and her friend Edward Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial offerings may be made to Dora's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Hospital in name of Dora J. Friona.
