He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni DeFazio and Philomena Yorio (Aiello); and his wife Virginia R. Peden. He is survived by: his children, Robert DeFazio, Dominic J. DeFazio (Annelie), Cheryl Gleason (Dennis) and Mark DeFazio; and his grandchildren, Jessica Layman, Peter, Michelangelo (Kim), Christopher, Elida, Lara DeFazio, Ryan (Crystal), Stephen Gleason, Sarah Rizzo (Anthony) and Francesca Marmugi (Matteo). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces nephews and cousins.
