She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lauer and Lillian Lauer (Pearson); her husband Karl Edwards, Jr.; her son Dr. Karl Edwards Havens, III (Pamela Ann); and her brothers, Lewis Lauer Jr. (late Susan), Paul Lauer, Richard Lauer and Arthur Lauer.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Beth Wade (Harry), Dr. John Andrew Havens (Michele Ruggirello) and Dr. Todd Lauer Havens (Nicole); her grandchildren, Andrew Havens, Jennifer Empey (William), Kimberly Powell (Tyler), Michael Alex (Samantha), Jenna Havens, Nina Havens, Jack Havens, Connor Havens, Cora Havens and Kylee Havens; her stepgrandchildren, Sydney Wade and Daniel Wade; and her great grandchildren, William Empey, Eleanor Powell, Nolan Powell and Madeline Empey. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
