Betty L. Tyra Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2021, at the age of 98, Betty L. Tyra of Lewiston, New York, born in Glen Ferris, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Johnson and Betty Martin Johnson of Gauley Bridge; and her husband Roderic S. Tyra. She is survived by: her sons, Arthur (Melody Tyra), Eric (Cynthia Tyra) and Timur (Elizabeth Tyra); and her foster sons, Robert Heilman (Pamela Davis Heilman) of Buffalo, William Heilman of Washington, DC and Dr. Raymond Heilman (Carrie) of Scottsdale, Arizona.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
