She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger K. Howes and Mary [Wolf] Howes; her husband Robert J. McDermott; and her sister Virginia Huegerich. She is survived by: her children, John P. McDermott (Teresa), Michael J. McDermott (Christine), Ginny K. Tompkins-Burke (late Bradley), Thomas H. McDermott (Karen), Robert J. McDermott (Mary Kay), Richard E. McDermott (Lori) and Mary McDermott Troia; and her sister Mary Louise Roski. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
