It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert R. Paonessa Jr. of Lewiston, New York, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on May 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert R. Paonessa and Elvira Paonessa (Bongiovanni); and his sister Maria Vescio. He is survived by: his wife Norma Paonessa (Smith); his children, Albert, JoAnne Paonessa, III (Zucco) and Tracy Paonessa (Jason Vail); his grandchildren, Aubrey Joy Paonessa and Michael Hibbard (Tesha); his great grandchildren, Michael, Josephina, Preston and Francesca Hibbard; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Smith (late Felicia) and Donald Smith (late Vera). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
