She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hance and Gertrude Hance; and her siblings, June Pulsifer, Harold Hance, Sr., Larry Hance and David Hance.

She is survived by: her husband Stephen Sandberg, Sr.; her children, Tammy Lamere (Michael) and Stephen Sandberg, Jr. (Rebecca); her sister Star Gay (Timothy); and her grandchildren, Brandy, Kristan, Stephen III, Andrew, Colby and Sarah. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
