With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Bauer in Lewis, New York, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander F. Bauer, Jr.; her sister Mary Mayer; and her parents, Michael Filko and Mary Kirchmayer Filko. She is survived by: her children, Michael A. (Justine Bauer), Joseph A. (Angela Bauer) and Susan M.; and her son-in-law Thomas Meyer of Palmyra. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; two nieces, and several cousins.
