It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Marie LaVancha in Lewis, New York, born in Gouverneur, New York, who passed away on November 17, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dawn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dawn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett LaVancha and Harriet Datoush LaVancha; her brother Leroy LaVancha; and her niece Patricia A. Trainham. She is survived by: her siblings, Blanche Trainham (Jim) of Lowville, Charles LaVancha (Rosemary) of Harrisville, Lloyd LaVancha of Harrisville and Floyd LaVancha of Colorado; and her sister-in-law Maureen LaVancha of Watertown. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
