Calvin J. Yousey Obituary
We bid farewell to Calvin J. Yousey in Lewis, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2025 at the age of 54. Calvin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his niece Katelyn Rose Noftsier; his uncles, David, Norman Yousey, Herbert Robertson and Ed Lyndaker; and his aunt Violet Kennell.
He is survived by: his parents, Herbert and Edith; his sisters, Lynette Hartzler (Bruce) of Castorland and Angela Noftsier (Larry) of Castorland; his nephews, Philip, Ryan, Derek Hartzler, Landon and Blake Noftsier; his niece Rebekah Hartzler; and his son Herbert (Edith Lyndaker Yousey). He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Naumburg Mennonite Church (5463 NY-410, Castorland, NY 13620). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Calvin's name to the River Valley Mennonite School, P.O. box 141, Castorland, NY 13620.
