He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard C. Monnat and Catherine M. Martin Monnat; his siblings, Franklyn Monnat and Edna (Carl Ritz); and his brother-in-law Wilfred "Stump" Proulx.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anne Boliver of Anthony's Catholic Church; his children, Lynn M. Monnat, Larry F. (Denise Monnat), Lisa M. Monnat and Loren "Jim" (Sherri Monnat); his grandchildren, Jamie, Brennan, Josh, Cody, Ben and Colten; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Lucas, Allison and Alizabeth; and his siblings, Gordon (Barbara Monnat) of Croghan, Ellen "Kee" Proulx (Rosemary) of Croghan, Duane Schwendy (Elizabeth Pettitt) of Carthage, Milton "Mouse" (Janet Monnat) of Castorland, Patricia (Robert Campanelli) of Rhode Island, I. Michael (Susan Monnat) of Virginia and Stephen (Dorothy Monnat) of Lowville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Church (9748 Main St, Croghan, NY 13327).
