He was predeceased by: his brother Harry Rich; his daughter-in-law Alesa Rich; his great grandchild Luna Marie Brouty; and his parents, Basil A. Rich Sr. and Dorothy Walters Rich.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Koster (Carey) of Lowville, Robert Rich of Evans Mills and Scott Rich (Jacqueline Corbett); and his mother-in-law Mary Becraft of Chaumont. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
