He is survived by: his wife Gerri; his children, Karen, Bill, Robin and Susan; his sons-in-law, Jeff, Barry and Joe; and his grandchildren, Kaitie, Nolan, Shaina, Andrew, Jesse, Damon, Ronan and Tristan.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in his name to the American Stroke Association.
