We bid farewell to Rigoberto Chaves (Levittown, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Rigoberto touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Rigoberto may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rigoberto touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son William Chaves. He is survived by: his wife Elidieth Chaves; his daughter Elidieth; his former spouse Ken Stern; his children, Rodrigo Chaves and Maureen; and his grandchildren, Gabriella (Noah), Rebecca and Diego.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bernard's RC Church (3100 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY 11756).
