Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rose Marie; his children, John (Karen), Christopher (Margaret), Dina Marie Hanebury (Mark), Anthony Rotondo (Sharon) and Salvatore; and his siblings, Diane DeSalvo (Kenny), Patricia Rufano (Gerard) and Peter. He was also cherished by his 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles J. O'shea Funeral Home (603 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bernard R. C. Church (3100 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY 11756). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
