He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his son-in-law John LaGeorge; his siblings, Ruby Vertino, Mary Orlando, Rose McCart, Peter, Louis, Gerald, Mauro, Michael, Pat, Ray and Vito Montemarano; and his parents, Dominic Montemarano and Maria Marcello Montemarano.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Montemarano Jr. (Kathy) of Leicester, Linda LaGeorge of Geneseo and Lauraine Montemarano of Leicester; his grandchildren, Justin Montemarano (Nicole), Leandra Shelton (Ben), Aprile Mack (Leonard), Rachel LaGeorge (Gary Converse), Tricia Shaffer (David) and Erica Montemarano; and his great grandchildren, Marceline, Lenny of Gary, DJ, Juliette and Kinley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
