With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marlene R. Urtz of Lee Center, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marlene left this world on November 29, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Olejniuk and Lillian McDonald Olejniuk; her daughter Christine Rasha; and her brother Dennis Olejniuk. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Urtz of Taberg and Debra Urtz Jefferies (Jamie Flick) of Lee Center; her grandchildren, Brandon Jefferies (Lindsay), Tonya Swayze (Tim), Stephanie Rasha (Frank Berwick) and Jessica Allen (Jason); her brothers, Ronald "Wheat" Olejniuk (Marilyn) and Nicholas "Chip" Olejniuk (Mary Griffiths); her sister-in-law Mona Olejniuk; and her son-in-law Steve Rasha. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
