He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Sochia and Shirley Lohr Sochia; and his siblings, Margaret Rutz, Russell and Walter Sochia.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia G. Patrick; his children, Crystal Brower (William "Bill") of Lee Center, Kimberly Cornell (Russell) of Nichols, NY, John Jr. Lohr (Stacy) of Rome, Scott Edwards (Barbara) of Frankfort, NY and Christopher Edwards of Rome; and his siblings-in-law, Berniece Kiser (Ronald), Sandie Sochia, Rosemarie Chapple, Kathy Kent (George), Elaine Phillips and Keith Patrick (Donna). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great, grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in John's name may be made to the Lee Center Volunteer Fire Department.
