It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Baldygo of Lee Center, New York, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Carmody and Olevia Carmody (McIntyre); her sister Elizabeth (Betty); her brother-in-law Richard Borer (Dick); her brother Daniel Carmody; her aunt Mary McIntyre; and her mother-in-law Doris Baldigo.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Shawn Hughes (Caroline) of Utica and Megan Orsini (David) of Guilderland; her stepchildren, William Baldygo (Michelle) of Beaver Creek, OH and Cheryl Ross of Camp Hill, PA; her grandchildren, Delaney Hughes (Deano Flemming), Callahan Hughes, Quinn Orsini, Devon Orsini, Matthew Baldygo, Christopher Baldygo, Josuha Baldygo, Autumn Ross and Jesslyn Ross; her great grandchild Rynleigh Flemming; her siblings, Thomas Carmody (Arlene) of Phoenix, AZ. and Mary Frances Carmody of Rome, NY; her sister-in-law Nancie Carmody of Old Forge, NY; and her in-laws, Sheila Daly of Chelmsford, MA, Bernard Baldyga (Karen) of Boonville, NY, Robert Baldygo (Gail) of Staunton, VA, Susan Johnson of Berlin, MA and Barry Baldigo (Marie) of Averill Park, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many very special friends.
